Selsey Press is an environmentally conscious printing company and we reduce our ecological impact in a number of ways, from the sustainable materials we use and how we reduce waste from our state-of-the-art machines.

To show our commitment to using printing processes, systems and sensitive monitoring that minimise our impact on the environment:

ISO 14001 – We are certified for ISO14001 (environmental management)
FSC® certification – We are certified to use Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) products sourced from well-managed forests and other responsible sources
Regular audits – We are independently audited for ISO14001 and FSC to ensure we meet standards

Huge solar panel array on our factory roof here in Selsey – Over 170 panels generating up to 65kW of energy
Low-energy drying – Our Komori presses feature H-UV technology for fast, low-energy drying on uncoated papers
Vegetable inks – Vegetable oil based inks
Zero IPA Isopropanol – We have eliminated the use of alcohol in our printing machines
Lowered landfill waste – We have reduced our production of landfill waste by one third, despite increasing print production
Low carbon foot print – Most of our staff live locally and many of our customers are local, reducing the need for long commutes and deliveries
LED Lighting – LED low energy lighting has been fitted throughout the factory and studios
